Quality customer service…that is definitely a rare breed these days. I cannot count the really large companies in various industries that do everything they can to prevent themselves from actually providing customer service and when you finally drill down far enough to find a way to get there it’s a chat service originating in the Philippines or Bangladesh!!

I think part of that is that companies stopped seeing us as 'customers' and instead as 'commodities;' meanwhile, Substack in many ways sees us as 'partners' (if we are not making money, neither are they), so the paradigm is completely different here. I love it!

Appreciate the great comment - thank you!

That’s awesome. Quality customer service.

Finding it ANYWHERE these days is challenging, brother, as you well know - finding it ONLINE? Danged-near impossible LOL

Excellent! Great news to hear Substack promptly responded to your pleas. Fabulous images by the way. I’m having so much fun with mine. I did not know thatSubstack has an AI imaging tool? Where do I find it? Thank you Stone! ✨🤗💜

I could not agree more, sister - so refreshing!

BTW, I dropped the location of the Generator on your restack ;-)

Thanks you for that, BTW, and the gracious comment about the images and your wonderful support!

My pleasure Stone. 🤗

I also love using AI just for design ideas. Instead of searching the Internet for inspiration, you can magically create your own inspiration! Love it!

Thank you for the Image generator information here on Substack! I will check it out I haven’t checked all my messages. Have a beautiful day stone and sending you much magic and love! ✨💜🤗

So fantastic to hear of a great team - Substack is my only goto now and whilst in straitened circumstances I really appreciate that so much content is free. Yay for great people.

I had already noticed Substack is so much nicer than other platforms, and- thank goodness - no ads!

I can post my ‘scribblings’ here and they’re seen… unlike some platforms where you stay at the bottom of the algorithm and won’t be seen.

Thanks, Joyce - and yes, that ad-free thing is huge, isn't it? <3

And since your 'scribblings' are VERY much worth reading... we can be thankful we are not slaves to the algorithm here :-)

Just so you know, those of us with an apple tablet, love the squares. Yeah that first image, hair up, yowsa! The rest, postcards.

Great customer service. Try that with any other tech SM company. You will not live long enough to get an answer

Exactly right, Martin - a VERY rare thing, indeed!

BTW - Sorry it took me to long to reply - didn't see this comment until just now.

I've been messing with the generative AI on Substack on and off most of the day now.

Some of the things it comes up with are impressive.

It's crazy cool, isn't it? I cannot believe some of the stuff I have been coming up with - it's so much fun. Of course, I still get the three-legged, six-fingered people from time to time, but that just makes me chuckle... thus still entertaining LOL

Apologies for the delay in responding, BTW - didn't see this until this morning...

Yeah! The weird fingers and arms thing is odd! I'm not sure why it has such a hard time with that.

It does an awesome job of making dystopian landscapes. And wicked monsters.

I've been showing it to people and they've all been impressed. Everyone says, "Hey, can you have it do something with me in it?" I have to let them know that I'm not feeding it pictures. I have to try a bunch of times before it makes something they resembles someone (that isn't famous).

I made myself a a Dragon Ball Z character, just because why not? Of course it was wrong most of the time, but somehow it knew that I have salt and pepper hair. Which was odd! 🤔

Thanks for answering. No worries as to when. Substack tends to hit me all at once with a bunch of replies so at once! Sometimes is hard to keep up with.

The people at this platform are what make it stand out for sure.

To me, the big AND is getting around the algorithmic suppression as a video producer.

Every clip gets emailed directly to the inbox of all our subscribers - it helps us fight the algorithmic suppression of the video & social media sites!

I can certainly image how that would be a major plus!

And yes, the people here are everything.

Great post, I will have to start playing around with Substack AI tool. I had forgotten that Substack even had one. 😂

Thanks, Morgthorak! Set aside a little time to explore when you do, because man... it sure can be a lot of fun LOL

I'll take a peek tonight. I assume it's in the editor, right? So when I'm working on an article, I just click the button or whatever to use it?

Also Microsoft has included Dall-E AI in all its Windows 10 versions as of a few months ago. That's amazing. It's a little colorful icon on the bottom right of the screen. Amazing AI images.

My drafts are a mess too. I keep getting.more good ideas and I have a wealth of information to draw from so sometimes they are just ideas in a draft form

author

LOL Every now and then I'll look through those drafts, and realize a majority of them are dead in the water... yet I oft cannot let them go. I read through it, and think, "I mean, it was a 'good idea' once, no?" ;-)

BTW - happy to see you here, thanks for the comment!

Thanks. To be honest I had no idea Substack had an image generator! This information comes just at the right time because I’ve used up all my free credits on the one I was using! Thanks again

Hope you enjoy it - and hey, no worries about running out of 'credits' since it is 100% free! I've found great value in it, even BEFORE the recent improvements. Now, however? Oooooh yeah... :-D
