Once upon time, on the third planet in the Sol system, there was a species of cognitive inhabitants called ‘humans.’ These humans, throughout their evolution, captured their timeless cultures - and their sense of ‘identity’ - through the most powerful of traditions: Creating, honoring, and protecting their ‘legends.’
For ‘legends’ are vital to the human experience. They have the capacity to bind a people together, to pass along knowledge and history and wisdom as few methods are able. Legends embolden, inspire, and liberate the mind and spirit.
This… they could not abide.
Indeed, this ‘they’ - a small ideological group of these humans, whom we will call ‘Globalists’ - wished to subjugate and rule the masses, understanding that to do so they must break the spirits of those within said-masses. They too understood that the first step in that quest was to strip away any sense of ‘sovereignty’… and one of the first steps toward that?
They must eradicate those unique, powerful legends, while indoctrinating the people who cherished said-legends into a corrupted narrative of ‘history.’
And for millennia they have done just that. Through methodical, generational action they have deployed a bastardized version of ‘logic,’ combined with haughty ridicule and arrogant disdain, to demonize, criminalize, and marginalize those legends, along with the people who celebrate them.
All while stubbornly - oft violently - revering and defending their own.
And their goal has been nearly accomplished. Thanks to the last century of cultural and academic propaganda, much of the ‘civilized’ world now considers any belief in ‘legend’ repellant. Having been shamed and embarrassed into never being associated with them, people have surrendered the vitality of ‘legends,’ embracing instead the vile doctrines of mammon and thralldom and sacrifice.
This… I cannot abide.
Legends
Coming soon I will be starting a new series here on Substack, called ‘Icons.’ In each drop I will take one individual from history - being someone whose status as an ‘Icon’ was either stolen or suppressed - and create a ‘legend’ around them. While these stories will be fashioned around historical antidotes, they will written to be… well, more.
Instead of seeing these as ‘factual’ biographies, think ‘inspired’ biographies. Or, how like a motion picture production will occasionally be, ‘Based on a true story?’ That is another way to look at them as well.
After all, very few think the movie ‘Braveheart’ was actual ‘history’… yet most everyone (who possesses a love of Liberty) was still moved by it. It is in that vein each entry in the ‘Icon’ series will be written, to inspire and entertain while - perhaps - making you reconsider the subject of each piece on a deeper level.
The stories will be very short, and each will be posted whenever I complete it; no predetermined, rigid timetables involved. They will not replace my usual postings - I’ll still be yammering on about news and culture and whatever else tickles my fancy - but will instead be in addition to those regular postings.
In many ways, these ‘Icon’ drops they will be similar to the ‘Page’ posts I have been sharing. I intend to write them in a terse, baroque style, with brevity being ever observed; this will allow for richer storytelling, while integrating underlining meanings. That is an important aspect to our legends: While they are seldom entertained as absolute truth, they oft contain truths which are considered absolute.
That will be one of my goals when writing these. The other goal, of course, is to tell a good story… and to tell it well.
So, by utilizing imagination and inspiration, I want to tell each tale based on the essence of the individual subject, rather than their details; as such, there will be - as with any tale of legend - fictionalized elements. Still, I’ll endeavor to work within the facts as known - along with any existing legends - to create unique bios.
The visuals used (which will be generated using Substack’s AI Image tool, ‘Photo’ filter) will be similar in that regard. There will be one per story, and while each will resemble (if their appearance is known) the subject-in-question… they will NOT be an exact representation. Again - like the stories being told - the goal is not to present historical documentation, but to instead create-and-capture an iconic essence of each.
One final note: Since we can never reclaim what has been systematically destroyed, I will be focusing my efforts on people across time and space. From Nefertari to Cash, I intend to pour myself into celebrating those whom have been denied their proper place as a true ‘legend’… their place, as an Icon.
I am looking forward to this project, and very much hope you enjoy the journey.

better writing makes a more coherent understanding of existence, lets face it, we all want to see the divine in a way we can understand. I think that the stories with the very best writing Should be remembered. wisdom is encapsulated within them. You cannot really understand courage without seeing it in action.
This is an excellent idea, besides that, it is a starting point.
The WHOLE history as it is told to us is a hoax.
Hundreds times rewritten, falsified, corrected, suppressed. All led by religions, at the forefront by Jesuits, the Catholic Church and Jews.
So where starts the problem?
