Your example of what would happen to the Star of David is well placed. Katz once tried to shame me with his Jewishness, and I threw it back in his face.

They know not what they do. Totalitarian measures, when they run out of food, always cannibalize.

Thanks. Katz strikes me as a (to drop some lingo he would understand) real putz, so his reaction to you is not at all surprising.

And they really do NOT know what they do - considering the fact they have been using the same playbook for 2700 YEARS, you'd think they would have learned a thing or two in that time. Oh well, works to our advantage in the long run.

Thanks for the restack, BTW - appreciate ya!

As Carl Jung stated, "Psyche is reality". I would further illucidate that to say, "My psyche determines my reality". The problem begins when I attempt to impose my reality upon another, as their psyche determines their reality.

Why this all-consuming, aggressive and probably fear-generated obsession of forcing an individual/group reality upon another?

I wish I had an answer to that. Generational insecurity? Victimhood indoctrination from birth? Too many possibilities to explore in a small space, but your observations are dead accurate - thanks for sharing them.

I also appreciate the restack as well - thank you!

I agree Substack is amazing, and to be honest one of the only places that truth travels freely on the internet, being able to talk freely is the essence of truth. Although truth is a far cry for humanity at this particular juncture, places like this pave the way for positivity ,and believe it or not justice. We are getting there, the liars are afraid. If you google Substack, the amount shit talking by mainstream media is relentless to say the least, but it proves a valid point!! Why go to such lengths to down play something like Substack, unless you have something to hide!! I’m not sure who created Substack, although I vaguely remember a guest on Joe Rogan, but still thank you for this, I know it helps me a lot to be able to talk to like minded people about the real issues at hand. Everyone taking the time to write and create on here deserves to get paid an honest living. I wish I could afford to pay for subscriptions, but all I have at this time are thank yous and they are sincere!!

Absolutely love this comment - thank you for sharing it!

And worry not about 'paid subscriptions,' at least as far as I am concerned. Trust me, 'Likes' and 'Comments' are like gold coins around here, and they are greatly appreciated!

This piece definitely brought forth some sweeter notes in the Nicaraguan cigar I smoked. I came to Substack to follow two fiction authors I became sort of online friends with and stayed because I was pleasantly surprised by the actual diversity and depth of ideas shared on the platform. I’ve seen plenty I disagree with or see as silly (even stuff from those on my “own side”) but it’s intellectually thrilling rather than disgusting. Who would have thought free speech could be so wholesome and enjoyable?

Gratified it made the smoke a richer experience ;-) And I agree 100% - I have actually been amazed that a platform like this can still exist on the modern Internet. Free and respectful exchange of ideas, with minimal drama? Wild, yet I am thankful to have found it.

Yo Big Philly, I’m from the land of hoagies and cheesesteaks also. Am liking Substack for the same reasons and robust writers and commentators. MSM is the complete opposite of diversity, equity and inclusion of ideas and news.

The hammer and sickle is considered a symbol of hate in many places including our beloved Ukraine. Seems like we should ban people who display it on Substack just to keep everyone safe.

I appreciate that, Teresa - thanks! And I STILL have yet to see any of these allegedly-prolific Nazis - it's as if one has to go out looking for them, and look HARD to find them.

Makes one wonder whether Katz has an 'agenda' here... ;-)

Pineapplepizzaphobia is a very real thing - cuz you said so. So in your world ......

Perfect example, Stone! If I was a censor loving hate speech seeker outer and total Karen, I would lambaste you for hating on pineapple pizzas. Then I would delete and block you but not before re-stacking your hateful words and my completely understandable outrage over and over in order to whip up anti-pineapplepizzaphobia furor and maybe even start a war. Or at least a viral TikTok video.

Just for the record, hawaiian pizza is my all time fav. The fact you loathe it is your business (and loss, imo). I can go right on loving it without a further thought. And I can do so without forcing it down your throat.

Now THIS is mature-speak. Something so simple for you and I.

I have had the pleasure of reading and interacting with only the nicest people since I found Substack. I have not seen any “nazism” or symbols or truly hateful speech. (I guess I need to get out more)

So here again, we have a very very small percentage of the population trying to dictate what the overwhelming majority must do in order to appease them and their sensibilities. Much like trans, LGBT++++, jewish, ethnicities, etc.

And no, I am not xxphobic - I think everyone has a right to live their own lives. I just don’t want it shoved down my throat.

Right there with you, Freeq, 100%! And I too have literally seen ZERO evidence of what Katz claims.

Although I do have to admit to one xxphobia - I am pineapplepizzaphobic. Not SURE if that's an actual thing, but I think I'm gonna roll with it... ;-)

Thanks so much, for the insightful comment AND for the restack. Appreciate ya...

The reason we are experiencing this resurgence of Fascism is because of the “Too Big to Fail” agenda imposed upon the country by Bush’s “Croney Capitalism”, which is not Capitalism in any sense of the word but how the bankers first established a foothold in Germany after the inflation of 1923. Much more to this but the main take away here is that they are at it again… Don’t believe me? look at the present administration with honest eyes, or take a look at who Jamie 💎(a big-time Obummer, and Clinton fundraiser) is backing… Ms. Nikkie Haley the latest media darling goosestepping in 9” heels.

Ah yes, the Dawes Plan... what ultimately lead to the hopelessness of usury-based currency, which lead to the rise of depravity in Berlin during the Weimar Republic, which eventually opened the door for National Socialists to gain power after the '29 collapse.

Nice to find those truly aware...🫡

The ACLU once defended Nazis marching in Jewish Skokie, Illinois. It would not happen today.

An excellent observation. While I do not remember that march specifically, I do recall a couple of occasions where the ACLU lived up to its (alleged) mission in this vein. You are 100% correct - they would NOT do that in today's climate.

Thanks for the astute comment!

Funny how a 60 million (or was it 60 billion) contribution by G.Soros… Amazing how a few hundred million here, a couple of billion there can have so many literally burning the Constitution to keep warm.🥸

Read the bit about substack and how they’re going to start keeping lists of extremist stacks. I try to stay iut of the politics but this deeply concerns me.

Expand full comment
author

My goodness gracious, Rachael - I agree 100%, that is extremely disconcerting. Anyone keeping 'lists' for targeting purposes is going to be a huge red-flag anyhow (no matter their political bent), but when one considers how the meaning of the word 'extremist' can change with this particular group?

So who exactly will end up on these 'lists?' Actual Nazis, okay sure, but what about doctors who question the vaccine? Or people who have concerns about election integrity? Homeschooling parents? Rural folks who just want to grow and raise their own foods and be left alone?

Seriously... who's next?

Of course, the irony that escapes her is the fact that the first part of her article she was complaining about that Rufo character... for doing exactly what her and her lot are doing to others themselves. Self awareness, not a big item with that collective.

Thank you SO much for pointing this out. As I have Kabas blocked I missed this little rant of hers when she posted it, and I very much appreciate you pointing it out..

Those “journalists” and writers whose work has been widely disseminated, because they shook hands with all those in the “old boys clubs,” are widely threatened by platforms like this...although they use them to stay afloat of social media trends and the reach that it affords them.

They want other writers to only have the ability to speak freely and widely, if they pass through the same channels they had to go through. Publishing contracts are another way to control a person’s voice and artistry through the promise of money and exposure. It’s another form of censorship.

Some writers who’ve walked that tight path, appreciate the freedom that a platform like this offers themselves and other authors.

Those who have been posturing as artists, are threatened that they’ll lose popularity, money and opportunities in this new world where everyone gets to speak and be heard and appreciated.

While many of these authors are talented, they also had PR trickery and marketing magic bolstering their success. People on here write from the heart. Our grammar may not always be perfect. We don’t have professional editors or marketing experts...but people still want to read what we have to say and engage with us.

I think that a person like Katz is more threatened by the fact that people are losing interest in carefully crafted and contrived writing only made available once it’s been approved of by the “machine.”

This new age is about us re-connecting with our hearts and reaching the hearts of others in this grand time of transition. The heart cannot be censored, contracted or controlled. Those who have relied solely on their intellect to get them through often don’t like this fact.
