As I recently noted in a previous piece here on The Stone Age, I have an affinity for ‘words.’ When strung together in a coherent fashion they provide the means to connect with each other, articulate ideas, and create a blueprint for a peaceful society. They can also, when used for nefarious ends (or corrupted by sinister forces), be deployed to destroy cultures, minds, and spirits.
But I go beyond these thoughts; indeed, for several years now I have been of the belief that each individual ‘word’ possesses an energy all its own. The methods through which the energy of each word is established and fostered (and twisted) are nearly as varied as the words themselves; some energies evolve organically, based on culture, intention, and spelling along with vocalization… while others are manipulated by formulaic propaganda.
This is a huge reason why the Globalists despise the word, ‘No.’ The energy of it is incredibly powerful all on its own, so much so the word is incorruptible, and - as we all know - they do not vibe with anything ‘incorruptible.’
But especially the word, ‘No.’ They despise hearing that, no matter the context.
Words mean things… in part because of the energy which encapsulates them. With that noted, let us discuss the word, ‘freedom’…

Inadvertent Truths
In June of 2012 a new drama premiered on the cable-channel HBO. Called The Newsroom, its mission was to tell the story of a fictionalized cable-news network show from ‘behind the scenes.’ The plan of show-creator (and master of snappy dialogue) Aaron Sorkin was to present a balanced outlook, with right and left portrayed with an even hand.
Of course, ‘an even hand’ in Hollywood is to lean only marginally-left instead of radically so, but you know… ‘Hollywood.’
In the opening scene of show’s premiere episode, Will McAvoy - the main character, portrayed by Jeff Daniels (yep, the ‘Dumb’ in the film Dumb and Dumber) - goes on a tirade during a Q&A on a college campus. In it, he pontificates about how America totally sucks now - remember, this was a time when someone else occupied the White House - and how we were so much better once-upon-a-time.
That one scene, more than any other from the show, has gone viral on multiple occasions. It is a well-written scene (we are talking about Sorkin here), and well-acted too; unfortunately, the rest of the show failed to live up to that start.
There was one major aspect of the rant with which I take issue, however - not so much what was said, as how it was spun. During his on-stage attack of the “conservative,” Daniels’ character riffs on how ‘freedom,’ is not a reason for American greatness…
With a straight face, you're going to tell students that America's so star-spangled awesome that we're the only ones in the world who have freedom? Canada has freedom, Japan has freedom… the UK, France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Australia, BELGIUM has freedom. Two hundred seven sovereign states in the world, like 180 of them have freedom.
- Will McAvoy: ‘The Newsroom,’ 2012
He is not entirely wrong here; all those nations do indeed have ‘freedom’… and over the last few years (thank you, COVID-19), many of those mentioned above have openly demonstrated how utterly useless their ‘freedom’ really is.
No Longer Hiding It
There is a reason for that, from my perspective: The energy in the word ‘freedom.’ In fact I would say, due to its ambiguity and flaccidity, that ‘Freedom’ is one of the most toxic words of in our language. Sure, it CAN be strong - everyone who has seen the film ‘Braveheart’ remembers its use in that - but it can also sound like a simpering deception… especially when it rolls off the forked-tongue of a devious tyrant-wannabe.
You know, like virtually every politician in the western word who has used it since the Treaty of Versailles?
This is why I tend to shy away from, and do not trust, ‘freedom,’ because of the energy which permeates it. Said-energy feels chaotic - an unnatural concept which appears to have been manufactured by the Priesthood of Mammon - and thus poisonous to a person who cherishes Natural rights and self-determination.
Furthermore, this energy has allowed Authority to lay full-claim to the concept of ‘freedom,’ to give the impression that it is something which is granted exclusively by the State.
Because - to be honest - it is.
This is why so many allegedly-free countries were able to take draconian measures during the aforementioned COVID psyop; families ripped apart, businesses and churches shut down, and (in some countries) innocent people imprisoned… driven by authoritarian leaders, faulty science, and the will-of-the-majority.
You know… ‘Democracy.’ In ‘free’ countries.
This has always been a hidden truth, one which until recently they have worked very hard to keep hidden; now, however, they are arrogantly showing you their cards. ‘Freedom’ is a ‘gift’ bestowed to ‘the people’ by the State, one which they will also wield as a weapon when it suits them. They ‘offer’ it piecemeal as a means to placate the masses, in an attempt to sedate us with an illusion.
Such as…
- You are allowed ‘free speech’ - until your memes start to piss them off.
- You are allowed ‘medical autonomy’ - until they declare your decisions are a threat to a phantom ‘greater good.’
- You are allowed ‘freedom of association’ - until they decide you’re being ‘racist.’
- You are allowed to defend yourself - until you… actually, scratch that. Very few allegedly ‘free’ countries even offer this as a basic courtesy.
So… do you feel ‘free?’
In part, this is all possible because of the energy in the word ‘freedom.’ I have therefore cast it aside (and have hardly ever used it on these pages), because we have some else - something more precious, something much more sacred.
That something… is ‘Liberty.’
With Liberty…
As our adversaries understand the application of energies as much as any of us, is it any wonder you hear the word ‘Liberty’ so infrequently? Whether it be from the political class, or news media, or cultural vehicles or academic studies… it is seldom uttered.
That is because the energy embedded in the word is so powerful, all on its own, that it is - much like the aforementioned ‘No’ - nearly incorruptible. ‘Liberty’ is Natural - it is granted to us by Providence, by existence itself, and no other authority. It needs no justification from any Temporal entity - it simply IS, direct and merciless and uncompromising.
Oh, there have certainly been attempts to corrupt it. One of the most vile US ‘presidents’ of our lifetimes, the still-uncharged war-criminal named George W. Bush, would occasionally drop the word in speeches when discussing the ‘liberation’ of Iraq; that was in part an attempt at diluting its energy, its very essence.
He failed.
Many in academia have attempted this tactic as well. Dictionaries (both standard and law) have dictated that ‘freedom’ and ‘Liberty’ are interchangeable, but those reference-tomes are written (and rewritten) by those who have a vested interest in obliterating anything ‘Natural.’ That is because their doctrine of Mammon is the most anti-Natural concept in existence, hence their efforts to contaminate the Natural energy of Liberty, or to at minimum depreciate its usage.
Now, here is something curious: Do you know who DID use the word ‘Liberty?’ The Founding Fathers of the American Republic.
In fact… they used it a lot.
Founding Our Way
And the reason why they did? Because the American Republic (not the U.S. corporation which has attempted to supplant it) was actually founded on Liberty. ‘Freedom’ may have been the fiery rhetoric which drove our Revolution, but ‘Liberty’ was the soil where the resulting Republic took root and flourished.
Good, healthy soil.
The proof of that, of course, is in the documents we Americans (well, most of us, anyhow) cherish: The Declaration of Independence [DoI], and the Bill of Rights [BoR]. And despite efforts from tyrants great and small, left and right, these two documents did something which had never been done before.
For the first time in human history a State was told ‘by the People’ that certain rights were inalienable, and the primary job of said-State was to protect ‘the people’ from any infringement upon those rights… any. They were not concerned with what I consider unnatural Freedom… but instead something Natural, given to us by birth and granted by Providence.
Once again… Liberty.

Know Truth, Trust Yourself
With that noted, I know there have been changes over the last almost-250 years. Those documents have been tested, occasionally worn ragged, and Liberty has taken a beating under the twisted ‘democracy’ which has started to poison the once-vigorous soil of our Republic. I also know that unelected ‘officials’ with unearned power have been working diligently to convert said-Republic into an Empirical monstrosity, and have made unsettling inroads in their efforts.
That is not the fault of the soil, however, but those tending to it. As the principles laid out in the DoI and BoR are rooted in Liberty, and are therefore Natural… they are pure, unrelenting, absolute. Period.
The soil is fine when it is revered; we just have to care for it properly.
This is why I have for years made a distinction between ‘Liberty,’ and ‘Freedom.’ Freedom is an unnatural force, malleable and thus able to be shaped and formed to serve whatever ends an authoritarian entity wishes to achieve. Liberty, on the other hand, cannot be corrupted in the same manner, because on a subconscious level we connect with that word spiritually, even if we do not realize it.
Indeed, no matter what propaganda they deploy, no matter what false doctrines they create which say otherwise - our instincts continue to scream inside of us that Liberty is just different. It is real… it is ours.
Liberty. Is. Natural. And on that instinctual plane? We know it.

Bravo on this piece man! I recently subscribed so I’m catching up to your world work, but here are my points:
1. Etymology, the origin of words is so key. I’ve studied it in the past but I’m coming back to it again just because it unveils so much about our world. I’m going to look into Jordan Maxwells work to see if he has some good stuff there.
2. I just found out about the illusion of democracy not so long ago. As I was reading this article, I thought if you knew about it. Then I saw your link to the article about democracy and republic and I see the difference but I’ll have to dive into it a bit more so I understand.
In the meantime, here’s my revelation on democracy: https://unorthodoxy.substack.com/p/wow-everything-we-know-about-democracy
3. 1,000% agree that “freedom” is a fancy word and does nothing but uphold an illusion. We’ve been given “freedoms” — that is the problem. Once we realize this, we can then see the captivity of our modern plantation: https://unorthodoxy.substack.com/p/the-comfortable-cage-of-our-modern
To close, we’re on the same page and glad I came across your stack not too long ago. Looking forward to where this journey takes us 🙏🏾
This is the perfect explanation of the unalienable part that is referenced in our national document. You are correct...the term 'freedom' is used as an elixir to tempt people to make an agreement with the state. But no such agreement is needed. The state does not own liberty. It is not 'theirs' to grant or give. We are born into it by the forces that created us. Thank you.
Now, what's the next step for us to take to make this a reality?
