Perhaps you were in the grip of your inner "Daimon". As Jung stated, "Fate is doing gladly that which I must do". It is when we ignore this inner need that we fall into the dark abyss.
Powerful words expressed so well Stone and reflects my own dark period around 2010. I feel your frustration and longing for catharsis and escape from that inner turmoil. I'm happy we are both in a new place. ✨💜✨
Always good to have laughter aimed at us! Much better than arrows and if it is really a malicious laughter it is amazing how fast it fades to nothing when you laugh along with it even louder and add to it. It is sooooo liberating to be able to laugh at yourself and not just in private in front of everyone. I mean who knows better than you what a crazy silly stupid person you are and all the incredibly mistakes you’ve made? Also it is wonderful opportunity to check for self- pride. St John of Kronstadt says something this affect- you will know how close someone else’s criticisms of you are by your immediate reaction to them, if you become mad and defensive then surely they are spot on so if that is true than the best thing to do is thank them for helping you see your faults, acknowledge the truth of it and strive to correct it 💞🙏
My favorite yet!!!
Thanks, Angela! I appreciate that... <3
If there were no darkness the light would be so much less appreciated. Thanks for sharing
If poets looked like him…..vvvvrrrrrooowwww…..😂 count me as a poetry fan!!!!
Very evocative, I quite like it.
Love these posts where everyone understands it differently 😊

Oh this is deep. And dark. And soulful. ✨
Darkness once filled my life too. Your words were felt and I embraced them...
I am happy you were able to... thank you ☺️
I agree with Angela.
Most gracious of you, Eric - thank you! *salute
