I hope you will find the following poem that I wrote in 2013, complimentary to the distillation of your essence into words. As T. S. Elliot stated, “The purpose of literature is to turn blood into ink.”
Agape
To release desire, but live with passion,
To bid faith adieu, yet doubt not,
To discover quietude without seeking,
To dwell in serenity, illumined by flame,
And in that shimmering stillness,
Find Love made manifest.

C. S. Lewis uses agape in The Four Loves to describe what he believes is the highest level of love known to humanity: a selfless love that is passionately committed to the well-being of others.
Stone, my bro, you did it again… you succeeded in condensing one of the most difficult themes, virtues, in one page while making each of those four stand out like a bright light.
There’s an old Asian parable… when you hurry along the road, you’ll end up being (too) late. Patience!
Nice essay. This wisdom is ancient and is supported by the savings of wise men from unrelated cultures from all over the world. Seems to speak towards there being an objective absolute truth. With that being said, in my personal life when I remember to express these mere four virtues I find myself much more content and satisfied. Otherwise I struggle.
Forgiving people is a power we wield. It is so much fun, when you practice. Twice this week I felt my heart really open up to two people that I had issues with in the past. I truly, truly, truly no longer cared about the past. I told them both how special they are to me. It feels really good. Humility is essential. It helps me when I am ready to perform a piano piece. I put myself in position to create frequencies for the audience and for source. It's not for me. I am there to do the work. I enjoy it, yes. I am glad when they tell me it was meaningful to them. It never makes me feel too prideful though. I just feel lucky and motivated to practice more and try again. Each week I have an opportunity to make a change in a room with no words. I am so grateful for that. Thank you for this. It is clear and concise and it gave me a chance to reflect on forgiving people. Last night was when it hit me. She was dancing around (we were having a little celebration among work friends) and I told her how cute she was numerous times and I meant it. All the ugliness of the past just melted away. No, I wasn't drinking. All I had was water and strawberries :) Haha. All I want now is her happiness. Crazy, isn't it?
I struggle the most with forgiveness- towards others and toward myself. There are things that are difficult to forgive. I am working on it. I am coming to understand that all actions are part of a larger plan - and that the inability to forgive humans is, in fact, the inability to forgive God.
We must all remember we can control our emotions and reactions to the world around us. In doing so we have control of how the actions around us effect us.
A beautiful piece that presents a message with which I wholeheartedly resonate, Stone.
Forgiveness and gratitude center one right smack in the Now, while patience and humility offer you the best view from the driver’s seat, a powerful vantage point from which to create and receive what comes next....❤️
Thanks for the mention, and for your company last night! I’m happy and honoured to know I was providing you with some atmosphere for conjuring. ✨

That’s beautiful, Gwyneth, and think it is a wonderful companion to my ‘Page.’
Thank you for sharing it!

I am so looking forward to that book. 😊
I love that proverb, Joyce :-)
I appreciate you saying that, truly, as this was one of the more difficult 'Pages' for me to write. I am glad is came across the way I intended.
Thanks so much, as always <3

You’re amazing, Stone. Your mind never fails to thrill!

Profound wisdom, Stone, as always!
I simply love the title "Projecting Integrity" ... so often our "projections" aren't so virtuous,, eh?
Wise words Stone! 👏
Beautifully written.

The actual forgiveness, however, takes time.
Consider these ideas consumed. Thank you. Digestion is on-going…

Oh patience is fleeting as I age….well done, sir.

Very succinct and yet . monumental ...happy Birthday to you...have a glorious era...
I think the last sentence in the forgiveness paragraph needs to be edited.
