Welcome to the latest edition of Seven-Round Mag, my weekly take on the most intriguing headlines from the Evening Lines micro-newscasts.
With healthy doses of passion, common sense, and brevity, I offer raw, unfiltered commentary on a diverse collection of news stories. I will also - on occasion - throw in a dash of sarcasm for flavor… because who wants to consume bland brain-foods?
So, with that noted - and without further delay - let’s talk about the news…

In all the hub-bub of Trump’s arrest, and his Tucker Carlson interview, and the Republican debate, AND all the myriad of other stories grabbing the focus of the information-peddlers… this story slipped under the media radar, virtually unnoticed.
In my opinion, that is a mistake. Indeed, this could end up being the most important story of 2023… perhaps of the entire decade.
The policies of the United States in general - and the Federal Reserve “Bank’ in particular - have been bullying the world for several decades now. BRICS, which has been on my radar for well over a decade, presents the greatest threat - to both entities above - that we have seen in years, going back at least to the collapse of the Soviet Union.
And maybe, just maybe, it is long overdue.
The BRICS nations combined have an estimated population of nearly three-and-one-quarter billion people, which makes up over two-fifths of everyone on Earth; it also has in its ranks, due to Russia’s membership, the second-largest holder of nuclear weapons on the planet.
While initially an organization formed to foster purely economic ties, it is now becoming a force to be reckoned with on both the cultural and geopolitical fronts as well. Its drive to break away from decadent ‘western’ Globalism is admirable, and its focus on developing a means to shatter the utter stranglehold the Fed bankers have on… well, everything? It is perfectly understandable why they would begin to fight back.
Nobody likes a bully, and unfortunately our own government (and its evil, usury-based banking cartel) has become just that. We have allowed it to stretch well beyond its Constitutional boundaries, thus it makes sense that someone would step up and say ‘Enough.’
I fear that time is coming - and that we, the America people, will pay the price for it…

“Though it remains far below levels seen during the ‘pandemic.’” So, why the sudden push, you may be asking?
According to official reports, it is due to a spanking new ‘variant,’ designated BA.2.86m. They claim that since it has a large number of mutations, it is a much greater threat than previous incarnations of the COVID-19 ‘virus.’
You know, like when the Delta variant rose up and they were basically saying the same thing then? We all know what that steaming pile turned out to be.
Of course, a couple of days ago I posted a far more dire - and far uglier - possibility for this push, but if you haven’t read it already? You probably don’t want to; it inspired one Stone Age subscriber to email me the following: “I'm not sure if I admire the way your mind works or if it scares the hell out me.”
Not only do I absolutely love this quote? I understand her quandary - I have to live inside this mind, after all…

Speaking of questionable assertions from those in the medical field…
Your initial reaction may be to think the link above is a piece which questions the already-questionable assertions made by those driving the pro-vaccine, pro-mask narrative, but no - they are attacking those who counter the repressive ‘get jabbed or die,’ arguments. After all… SCIENCE!

A new study reveals 52 US doctors shared misinformation about COVID-19 on social media and other online platforms, including the claim that "most who took COVID vaccines will be dead by 2025."
The rest of the article is boilerplate ‘misinformation’ rot, demeaning those professionals who see the ‘science’ differently… you know, the kind of propagandizing which has become easily identifiable. Furthermore, when you consider that there are over 600,000 Medical Doctors [MDs] in the United States, 52 is hardly a ground-shaking number.
Naturally, I read between the lines of stories like this, and in the process came to an alarming conclusion: There are actually medical professionals - indeed, MDs - who believe that there could be a large-scale die-off of those who took the COVID ‘vaccines’… and that it could occur by 2025!
Suddenly my article, the one I linked to above? It doesn’t really seem all that crazy, now does it…
A right-wing sheriffs group that challenges federal law is gaining acceptance around the country

“Gaining acceptance” You know what that means - time for anti-Liberty media and academia to step in and try to tear them down. That’s what the article above basically attempts, and the format-for-attack has become so predictable (at least for those who are ‘aware’), it borderlines on tedious.
It is also vile and insidious, but again… predictable.
The organization itself, the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association (CSPOA), works with law enforcement organizations to teach the value of honoring the U.S. Constitution, and the unique role officers (especially sheriffs and their deputies) play in that.

During the last few years, we have faced an onslaught of unconstitutional actions by Federal, State, and local governments. From lockdowns, to masking, to mandatory medical treatments, Sheriffs and police departments have had to decide whether to obey the constitution or the tyrannical dictates of politicians drunk on power.
With gun control, massive illegal immigration, pronoun enforcement and many other threats on the way, the CSPOA organization is needed now more than ever.
So basically… they are putting the People, and their Natural rights, before tyrannical politicians? Well hell’s bells, they are the real threat, and they must be stopped! Stop them, I say - STOP THEM!

Seriously though, I have been quite vocal about my support for sheriffs, and this organization only bolsters my support for them. As I recently noted, in an article from June of this year…
[I]t is critical to pay close attention to your County Sheriff elections… and the reason why… is simple: That is the one law-enforcement office which (theoretically, at least) answers directly to the people.
As such, the importance of voting for an individual with strong pro-Liberty stands (especially regarding the natural right to keep and bear arms) cannot be overstated. These are the men and women who will - if you vote wisely - serve as our last-line of official defense against tyrannical assaults from the Federal level, should they ever occur.
It is undoubtedly unnecessary for me to say that I fully support the CSPOA - but I’ll do so, anyhow…
Rare spotless giraffe born in Tennessee zoo

This story has been making the rounds on social media, generally viewed as a ‘feel-good’ story… and it IS; everyone loves a sweet baby-animal tale, and goodness gracious, that little bugger is cute. She is also believed to be the only giraffe in the entire WORLD born entirely brown, without any spots or patches.
That, of course, got me thinking.
The primary reason giraffes have spots is for camouflage; in the wild, one born without them would certainly be hunted expeditiously. As such, I found it curious that the first one known to exist was born in a zoo… where camouflage is completely useless.
It has been a theory of mine, for a while now, that ‘evolution’ not only works much quicker than scientists generally acknowledge, but that is works within closed, individualized environments as well. If Nature chose this particular giraffe - possibly the first ever - to be born brown AND spot-free… and if Nature decided she did not need said-spots, based on her living in captivity?

They have peddled a lie to us, folks, one which I sadly bought into for most of my life. We were sold on a millennia-old doctrine that the pursuit of mammon and prestige and indulgence would lead to personal happiness and a glorious future for mankind.
A lie.
We were indoctrinated into this belief, by those who knew better… know how utterly vile it is. We are living in this belief, even clinging to it… and it is going to destroy us. The Japanese people - if they do not change course - will disappear from the face of the Earth within a few generations… and most of the ethnic groups from Europe are not far behind them.
A change of thinking - a change of living - is the only thing which can save us from this doctrine. Save us, from ourselves…

So they do not know why Neptune’s cloud have vanished… but they assume it has something to do with the sun’s activity, which rises and falls in 11-year cycles.
Wait, what?
So you’re saying that the sun can cause drastic atmospheric changes - dare I say, ‘climate changes’ - on a planet 2.5 billion miles farther from the sun than we are, but that same sun has little influence here?
You confidently assert the reason we’re experiencing a wretched summer has nothing to do with those solar cycles, but is instead because we didn’t build enough friggin’ windmills?
I just can’t take these people seriously anymore…
