I do indeed; as a midwestern kid with rural grandparents, one who would spend literally HOURS staring at the skies when 'weather' was rolling in? I so get it.

You know, I'll take a little hot weather over torrential rains. After what has happened in Tennessee and North Carolina, it makes me a bit worried. We have dams all over the place because of flooding back in 1913. As far as I know, they're all still in good shape, but... 😬
That situation in and around the Appalachians has been harrowing, indeed. I am honestly concerned about many of the dams all around the country; if our infrastructure IS falling apart as they claim?
