Note: This is a repost of an article I wrote in September of last year, back when I had far fewer subscribers; While it is an older piece, and market-prognosticators are starting to get bullish on lithium once again (perhaps due to its potential scarcity), the information found therein is still accurate.
As such, a reposting seems justified, especially since I refreshed some of the text.
A worldwide lithium shortage could come as soon as 2025
CNBC
Well, isn’t this something…
The world could face a shortage for lithium as demand for the metal ramps up, with some analysts forecasting that it could come as soon as 2025. Others, however, see a longer time frame before that shortfall hits.
Between this, and lithium-powered electric vehicles [EV] being literally flooded into flames, and governor / climate-propagandist Gavin Newsome having to rely upon ‘fossil’ fuels to survive, a question arises: Are the wheels truly starting to come off the (supposedly) ‘clean’ energy automobiles?
Yes… and no.
As you may be aware, lithium is an absolute necessity in manufacturing batteries for EVs (and smart phones and pacemakers and et cetera), so a shortage would certainly seem to be a threat to EV producers. After all, if you cannot create the means to actually propel your cars, you will manufacture less of them… and less people will be able to purchase them. That’s bad, right?
Again… yes AND no.
It’s bad for us commoners, we who embrace the freedom to come and go as we please. It is bad for rural residents, those who wish to live off the land and produce naturally, those who ranch and farm, who hunt and fish and gather, living not at the mercy of phantom masters in towers of ivory and steel and glass.
For those who wish to live in Liberty, by their own means… yes, it is bad. If (when) lithium becomes limited, and the manufacturers must curtail the number of EVs produced as a result, then said-vehicles will remain priced beyond the means of us commoners… which will keep those vehicles out of our hands.
And IF they get their way, and are able to mandate that only EVs can be legally owned? Then the only cars which people will be allowed to drive will remain outside of our means to own.
So yes, it is actually quite good for our self-appointed ‘masters,’ those who yearn for control. Many of us will be forced, by our government-dictated immobility, into their 15-minute cities and eternal rentals… just to survive. These little tyrants will get exactly what they want - corralling humans into clandestine prisons through Agendas 21 and 2030 - while still being able to afford those overpriced vehicles for themselves.
And due to the inflated prices? The EV plants producing these ‘cars’ will continue to rake in obscene profits, and with less effort on their parts.
Oh… and speaking of 2030…
Other analysts don’t see a deficit coming so soon, but still predicted a shortfall by the end of the decade.
By the end of the decade… meaning 2030. Now, isn’t that curious?

And do not for one moment buy into the narrative that the whole EV push is for the ‘environment.’ Study after study have proven the adverse effects on the ecosystems (you know, the ‘environments’) around those lithium mining-concerns are anywhere from disturbing to flat-out catastrophic.
Not surprisingly, those ecosystems are never within walking distance of the neighborhoods in which these Elitists live. Unless an issue directly affects them, they seldom know - much less actually care - that said-issue even exists.
Truly, these 'environmental’ measures are not about what is good for the planet, nor for the people living upon it; they are - and have always been - about control. Pure. Simple. Absolute.
The ‘climate crisis’ is the biggest gaslighting false flag in human history, an open attack on Liberty, on Natural existence, and on basically everything we hold dear. Never let them take your ability to move about freely, because the dirtiest secret they keep is also the most liberating for us: Despite decades-long propaganda to the contrary, while lithium is limited… there is one thing which is actually quite plentiful.
Oil. Yes, you read that right… oil.
And they doing everything in their power to make sure this knowledge remains hidden from us, that they can pursue their agendas unimpeded; do not let them get away with it. Get involved closer to home (here in the States, that means at the city, county, and state level), and make sure your elected officials are fully invested in protecting you from any outside influences, be it from DC or Davos.
The only way we can, in my opinion, salvage our Liberty-infused way-of-life is by living - and I mean fully living - local. It is where you are most powerful, where you - and we all - can make a real difference.
Because believe it or not? It is NOT too late…

Lithium is not rare in itself, there are billions of tons of it in Earth's oceans (estimated 200+ billion tons) – just that its concentration therein is fairly low and extraction is not economically viable at this time. Even extracting it from the few «good» sources is rather energy-intensive.
This is a relatively good article: https://www.chemistryworld.com/features/the-lithium-rush/4017304.article
That battle of energies ⚡️ ⛽️
I have driven a Tesla extensively, it has many problems. But it’s perfect for a 15 minute city.
