I say that because none of the alternative candidates are outsiders - as in non politicians. They're all steeped in the process by this point and so compromise and bending is the norm for them. You only have to look at Mike Johnson and all those RINOS who voted for the last $95B in aid for Ukraine, Israel and two other boon doggle money drains, then waived Ukrainian flags proudly.
