Your take is spot on. My grandfather (86 year old Sicilian immigrant) has always said to me that once the debates and elections are over, the two sides get together over dinner and laugh all the way to the bank. It doesn’t matter which side wins, we always lose.

Of course they knew, it was the reason they allowed the debate before the formal nomination. There's no denying President Biden is unfit for office, and that this debate performance will spur calls for The Big Guy to step down, allowing for another candidate to succeed him.

My thought is, the Republicans should bang the 25th Amendment drum loudly. Even if President Biden decides not to run, he'll still be the President until next January. Don't let the Marxists replace him (and in the process, shove VP Harris out the side door). Force him out with the 25th Amendment, and put Kamala Harris in as the first WOMAN, first BLACK WOMAN to be President. Imagine, the Democrats certainly don't want Harris in the top spot, because they want someone else; force then to find a reason why they aren't going to run Kamala Harris for President.

Popcorn sales will increase ten-fold.

A fascinating stratagem, Darin... and it would probably work exactly as you described. And since it WOULD work... the R's will probably never deploy it *facepalm

Seriously, I've never seen a group of people worker harder to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory than modern Republicans.

I dig the thought-processes, though *salute

That's a good strategy.

Democrats don't want Kamala Harris, but I also wonder if they can afford to bypass her for one of their liberal darling rich white governors.

They're already showing some shaky foundations with black men, and being asked to vote for Newsom or Whitmer is laughable.

Sand in the gears, that's what the Republicans should be throwing, atm. I am sure that there are people in the RP who see the need, however, it remains to be seen if they will actually move in that direction.

Just a slight adjustment to the logic stream here - with respect- Kamala doesn't bring the black male vote, she brings the black female vote. While that is a moderate influence on black men, there has been a ever widening divide on that front as well.

I've said this many time over the past 2 days, Kamal is an idiot, but she is not stupid. She knows she is a B-teamer and that she's incapable of being the regime frontman on the world stage, for more than a week, tops. She also knows that the deep state has dirt on her, just like they do all the legacy and insider politicos 9that is why Trump is such a threat - they have nothing on him). She will go along and play what ever tune they tell her and will sell it to the black woman voter base.

Lastly, I read a very good opinion piece on why Whitmer would be a strong replacement at the convention. She shown great aptitude in wielding the tyranny mace, she's all in on the lgbtqFU agenda, plenty of corruption to be able to control her, she would bring the MI vote (even though she is despised), and it would be the first dual female presidential ticket in history.

The other option is to give kamala an ultimatum - you can drop out and get the standard multimillion dollar pre paid book deal and a cushy multimillion dollar position as a board chair somewhere or we can politically and publicly eviscerate you and then let them prosecute you.

As I said, she is an idiot, but not stupid and she's an opportunistic whore. They don't call her heels up Harris for no reason.

She would play along or take the deal, no question.

Good points. For the black men comment, I wasn’t thinking K-dawg brings them in, but more that passing her over for one of the rich white Dems would further push them away. I’m counting on black women to do what they always do: turn out and vote Democrat regardless of the circumstances.

I wonder if the powerbrokers are about to write off 2024 and then use a second Trump admin to keep their activists and cityburners busy. He’s great for fundraising and he helps keep their media allies in business.

The easiest way to get rid of Kamala is to let her stay on the ticket with Joe and lose.

I don’t think black men - on the whole - would be swayed by Kamala either way. I think they see her less as one of them and more a cackling pantsuit sellout. You also have the added factor now, that she knew all along he was a dementia patient and still sold the lies to the people. That’s not a plus, especially if your not a died in the wool TDS pawn.

Yes, the black women who watch the view or identify with the likes of joy reed or any other black female talking head in media will vote for any dem they put out there. However, there’s been a growing rift in the inner cities and you saw it during the sham trials. There a many black women who live in the 2+2=4 world and not the media created, detached utopia their pundits do.

They will have to steal it, to win, as before but if they can’t - I think your suggestion about a second Trump term is spot on. It would be a boon for them. The left understands two things about the conservative base, which have always told them to just bide their time, plan and prep.

1) They are lazy. The majority will wave flags and post meme after the win, but then will settle back into their chairs and couches and consume all the regime shiny toys - as they did the last time. They’ll count on a champion to save them and not stay engaged or involved. So Trump will fight, but be stymied in many ways, buy dems and RINOS in congress and legal battles opposing his policies and actions.

2) They know the conservatives are myopic planners. The typical conservative voter rarely plans out past 5 years, much less 10 and that planning has nothing to do with the welfare of their country (government), and everything to do with vacations, sporting events, the weekend, birthdays, the new netflix series, what to order from door dash and all things social media.

So the left knows, even if they have to let Trump back in office, it will be a time of fund raising; planning operations that will make the last 4 years look tame by comparison; moving their operatives around to replace the old guard they will phase out and quietly working to legitimize (on the state level) the illegal voter base they just brought into the country. They know all they have to do, is wait 4 years.

Great observation DIA!!

Bingo!

The mess that has been created in the last 4 years is monumental and while I think Trump can and will stem the bleeding, there is no way he can make up the ground lost. If i were confident that the right could field another outsider, then Trumps legacy would be what it was in his first term- paving the way for a resurgence of economic growth (at all levels) and national security starting with borders, but extending to a dominant position in global affairs.

The players I would say could carry that forward (America First members), are so polarizing within the RINO party, that they would be undercut early on.

As we’ve said any progress made in the 4 years would be essentially nullified, the day after his term ended, like it was the last time.

The globalists have the momentum and numbers, while the conservatives are just waking up to the fact that the shiny toys they have been distracted by for the last 50+ years, were happily bought from those same globalists.

Aww shucks I have never been described as astute my grandbabies would say obtuse more likely. Lol!! Really I usually just get gut feelings and so my arguments are not always logical but I thank you. And maybe that is why I like reading things like you write coherent and logical and orderly. I have a friend who works for Ted Cruz and another friend who is close to Gov Abbott so actually we go to church together not super close but we discussed the debate and the fallout from it etc. I also just read Father Schewmann’s article on Utopianism and Escape and our Priest has made it so clear to us that with a Sacramental worldview we can participate in the energies of God seeking not to create a man made Utopia neither escaping from what man has made but transforming it by the Holy Spirit. So to me the words just now reminded me of the Eucharist - the Priest transforms the Bread and Wine into the Body and Blood of Christ so too we can transform situated events ( at least in our understanding and interpretation of them ) into lessons/blessings/ meanings from God and therefore change the way we respond to them - not with violence or disdain but with love and compassion ….. so could go on but getting ready now for Liturgy. Happy Saturday friend!!!

This is an honest question: for those who don’t subscribe to the circus and know that it’s all bs, what do y’all do on Election Day? Is not voting at all the best way to make an impact? I want to make an impact

Expand full comment
author

It's challenging, isn't it Nick?

Something I cover quite a bit in the articles here is the importance of focusing on local concerns, which include local elections. City councils, county sheriffs, state legislatures - that is where, from my perspective, we can really make a difference - an 'impact.'

Focusing on the national and international drama is good for the sake of knowledge, in that if you know what they are up to you can fight their tyrannical actions though local and state initiatives, but that's about it. The national guys have proven they largely do not give a crap about us, and will do whatever they want, so why bother counting on their support?

So - even though many here on Substack disagree with me, and say it is pointless - I do believe voting still matters, so being you are focused on local candidates and issues. Sure, pull the lever for the 'national' offices while you are in the booth, but don't let those be the reason you show up, because when we do we are always disappointed.

Thinking 'local' is - in my very humble opinion - the best way to overcome the 'Circus.'

Great question, BTW - thank you!

Oh course the poobahs knew Joe is a walking corpse. They knew it back in 2020. However I will be spitting out this black pill. Joe’s installation was a desperate move to begin with, and the shitshow election was only accepted because the electorate is so dumbed down and demoralized. Now the string pullers must make an even more desperate and obvious play to hold onto power. No outcome is guaranteed except a new shitshow to cover the tracks.

Do you ever wonder if any of these wars a really happening? I haven’t been to Russia or Ukraine ever, so I can’t say with absolute certainty that these things are even happening. What if there are way more paid actors out there then we think, my point being this you happen to meet someone that says they have been there to see it in person, you still have no idea if there being honest. That bullshit debate got me feeling like it might be incredibly easy for fuckery like the above questioned to actually be taking place. Something that has been bouncing back and forth in my head from the Bible is the verse that says you will hear of wars and rumors of wars? It doesn’t say you will hear about wars and then be in the middle of them. What if the bad out weighs the good by drastic proportions, like there are a lot less of us who should be questioning all of this then the ones creating it all?? Stupid debate got my wheels turning. The look on bidens face was so incredibly fake, you could almost reach out and grab it!!! Maybe the shnoz berries really do taste like shnoz berries!!!!!

You know, I have had my doubts. Not so much about the IDF / Hamas conflict - that's been going on for millennia in one form or another, so it is hardly surprising - but the whole Ukraine thing has really made me wonder.

It's the first war in the modern era with no imbedded reporters, no major coverage on ANY network; considering how much stock the 'politicians' are putting into this, how important they make it... you'd THINK there would be SOME coverage.

So why I have not seen enough evidence to convince me it is one giant 'red flag?' Like you, I do have questions... :-\
