I love this. Now that you put words to it, I realize this is something I also have pondered about. Ideas too big for a note but not worthy of a full length email. Great idea, Stone. I’m here for the ride! 😊

Thank ya kindly, Ms Jacqueline ☺️ It's something I have been mulling over for a while now, and decided last week to test this route.

Also, I may have finally (and accidentally) found a decent use for that "Chat" thingie 😉And I just remembered that AFTER posting this tonight 🤦🏻😁

I'm down for this. Weather has always fascinated me and a passionate observer without an agenda is rare. Frankly, I don't know how you can be so prolific AND keep a 'real' job, your fingers must go fast as Chick Corea! I bet your outtakes are marvelous. Don't delete them, archive them! Storage is cheap.

Happy to hear it - weather-stuff will be fun for me to do, hopefully that 'fun' will translate into what I post.

And to be honest? I type at less than 30 words a minute... so no, these fingers are not at all speedy LOL I work... and I work on my Substack - that's pretty much the sum of life at-the-moment :-D

When I still visited Facebook, I followed a couple different pages that did weather forecasting--one local and one regional. I mostly followed them for winter forecasts. I'm not a weather junkie, or anything, but I would definitely be interested in your weather posts.

I too saw a couple of those on FB back-in-the-day; while I briefly did forecasts here in the TDT, I used to post them regularly in my Telegram channel, back when I had an active one. I just love weather, and enjoy exploring it.

Hope you enjoy my future drops in this vein 🙂 Thanks for the restack, BTW ☺️

Herr Stone

I’d love to read your missives on weather

Past

Current

Future

I don’t believe computers can accurately forecaster our supposed weather a century from now.

I read about past weather epochs such as the saga of Otsi the frozen man found under the melting glacier in the Alps.

It proves weather was much warmer then for Otsi to be hiking over the Alps during his time.

Hence I appreciate falsifiable evidence.

Looking forward to you discussions
