You have brought up something I've never really thought about. That being said, you are correct in my opinion. A rose is still a rose by any other name but we humans do seem to perceive things according to a name.
Excellent point. In that vein, I wonder if a rose was actually named 'shitflower' instead, would we still PERCEIVE it as a 'rose'. Or would it suddenly seem different to us... somehow, LESS than it is.
