TDT: Candace Owens Out At The Daily Wire; The Message It Sends
Also: Artificial nurses coming soon, a personal message about the future, plus more!
Owens suggested - brace yourself - that seeking peace is a better option for the region, and that her compassion was reserved for the true victims in the current conflict: The civilians on both sides, including - and especially - the children.
Welcome to this edition of the Three-Dot Tablet [TDT], a weekly news-digest where I seek out the headlines others may not be covering (or not covering well), and - with healthy doses of passion, common sense, and brevity - discuss them with raw, unfiltered commentary.
Let's get to it…

Daily Wire Severs Ties With Candace Owens
Daily Caller
Here is a professional divorce that was a long time in the making…
The Daily Wire [TDW] co-founder Jeremy Boreing announced Friday that the outlet has severed ties with Candace Owens. Owens hosted a show on The Daily Wire after becoming a prominent name in the conservative movement. The outlet abruptly made the announcement of her departure for reasons currently unknown.
“Currently unknown?” Maybe ‘officially’ unknown, but we can definitely speculate based on the available data… because there is a boatload of it.
While Owens had oft dropped opinions which ruffled the feathers of her bosses, she for-the-most-part toed the correct lines, so they tolerated her employment. Besides, any time a company which wears the mantle of anti-censorship terminates a sharp, competent black woman based strictly on her opinions… in 2024? Nope, that would not have been a good look.
Then she crossed the wrong line, pissed off TDW’s primary bloviator - the ever-dramatic Ben Shapiro - and her eventual departure was pretty much set in stone.
So what was the crossed-line which got Shapiro all riled up? Owens suggested - brace yourself - that seeking peace is a better option for the region, and that her compassion was reserved for the true victims in the current conflict: The civilians on both sides, including - and especially - the children. Apparently, to Shapiro that was an anti-Semitic rant of some kind.
Wait - that is ‘anti-Semitic? I expressed much the same opinion when the Israeli-Palestinian conflict first erupted, and with far-less pleasantness than Owens; to be blunt, it is an opinion by which I stand to this day. Does that mean I too shall eventually be labeled a Jew-hater by Ben and those Powers-That-Be?
But hold up - there’s a monkey in this wrench! There are literally thousands of Jews - on the political Left and Right - expressing far-less charitable opinions about Israel’s ruling IDF than either Owens or myself; they are calling the war an act of genocide against the Palestinians.
So how do they work into this equation? Makes you wonder, doesn't it?
Look, I have never been a huge Candace-fan, per se, but I have never hated her, either. Like most non-mainstream pundits (not named Shapiro), I have agreed with her on occasion, disagreed to a near-equal degree, and thought she was - generally speaking - a likable, intelligent, and engaging commentator. Nothing more or less.
TDW’s behavior in this, however, speaks to a much larger issue. While the company has every right to hire and fire as they see fit, we too have right to judge them based on their choices… and the reasons behind those choices. And this choice… is foul. On so many levels.
Especially for an allegedly pro-speech news organization.
Owens herself will be fine. With a post on X she proclaimed, “I am finally free,” and I suspect - like Tucker Carlson, Sharyl Attkisson, and others before her - she will come out stronger than she was going in. TDW and Ben Shapiro, on the other hand?
I am convinced they genuinely have no idea what they - and others like them - are fostering with such actions… what passions they are unleashing. People see moves such as this, one after the other, and with each passing incident more and more of them are growing suspicious, openly asking questions that even a year ago would have been considered unspeakable.
They are questioning narratives spun, histories fabricated, and facts suppressed, and they are coming to conclusions that challenge 100+ years of unrelenting propaganda. Not everyone is questioning, of course… but as I said, more and more.
Indeed, TDW has no idea to what they are giving rise. Well, no idea yet, anyhow. I have a feeling, however, they are very close to finding out…

Nvidia announces AI-powered health care 'agents' that outperform nurses — and cost $9 an hour
Fox Business
Wow - there really is no career choice safe from the threat of artificial intelligence…
High-powered chipmaker Nvidia has teamed up with artificial intelligence health care company Hippocratic AI to develop generative AI "agents" that not only outperform human nurses on video calls but cost a lot less per hour.
Something strange about my reaction to this: If you would have told me artificial nurses were a potential option before the COVID-19 psy-op, I would have bristled at the notion of some robot taking care of my medical needs.
Reading it now, in 2024? I cannot even conjure up a yawn of concern.
A lot has happened over the past four-plus years. TikTok videos of ‘medical professionals’ doing obscene ‘vaccine dances,’ ridiculing and demeaning those of us who had questions and concerns about their highly-suspect juice-in-a-tube. Revealing reports about hospitals receiving kickbacks from the Pharma Cartel for pimping out said-juice while burying the benefits of alternatives like hydroxychloroquine. Government health-arms dictating to us commoners what we must inject into our own bodies, ‘informed consent’ be damned.
I know there are good nurses… good doctors… even good hospitals. But - for many of us - trust in the scientific medical field is almost as low as what we have for journalists, historians, and eating Taco Bell before a non-stop road trip.
Seriously… how do we find the trustworthy ones? In whom can we trust? Many of us have simply checked out of the system, gone natural, and would rather die than feed the ‘keep them alive and sick to sell them drugs’ system.
As such, I’m at the point of just giving the robots a shot. Sure, their bedside manner is undoubtedly garbage, and they would be only as good as the programmers, but maybe they won’t impatiently mock us for asking questions. If nothing else, we would have a good chance of avoiding the overwhelming incompetence which is growing in ALL fields of western life.
Also? They probably cannot dance.
And at nine bucks an hour? Sure, why not - after all, can androids in the ER really be much worse than the roulette wheel of ‘health-care’ we have right now?
I seriously doubt it…
'Woke' beliefs correlated with higher levels of anxiety, depression, unhappiness
Human Events
I cannot imagine this being a surprise to anyone paying attention…
A pair of studies recently conducted by the INVEST Research Flagship Centre at the University of Turku in Finland have revealed that those who reside in the Nordic nation and hold critical social justice attitudes are more likely to be depressed, anxious, and unhappy than their non-woke fellow countrymen.
Women were more likely to lean into “woke” (that word - ugh!) beliefs, with three out of five embracing such ideologies; curiously, that number drops considerably with women working in STEM fields, because sometimes science actually IS good for you.
Oh, in case you were curious? Only one out of seven men were keen on ‘wokeness.’ These are still the descendants of Vikings, after all.
Let that serve as a reminder of where this study was conducted - Finland! A racially homogenous nation, it is consistently graded as the happiest nation on Earth. Can you imagine how the percentages would play out here in America, or in the UK or France? The depression numbers would undoubtedly skyrocket in nations which actually deal with ‘woke’ concerns.
Meanwhile, a nation which has every reason to be giddy, one with virtually no ‘diversity’… experiences elevated levels of depression and anxiety by worrying over… diversity.
Well, I'll be; everything ‘woke’ really does turn to shit - even amongst the happiest people on Earth…
Sunday WX…
The good news? If you live east of the Mississippi River and the upper Great Lakes, you’re in pretty good shape today. Aside from chillier temperatures in New England and New York state, you are solid for a decent day.
The rest of the nation, however? Holy crap! Check out the maps below, to get a gauge of what you may be facing today… and if you are in the affected areas? Good luck!

And Finally…
This week I want to utilize the ‘And Finally…’ segment to discuss the future of the TDT.
When I first relaunched the Three-Dot Tablet back on January 6, I noted…
This is the beginning of a three-month test run, to see whether or not a weekly such as this fills a need here on Substack while still being engaging and entertaining.
Well, that three-month period has ended today, as we reached the twelve-week mark with this, the March 24th edition.
During this time I tested out several formats, features, and segments, to get a gauge of what the publication can be, where I want to take it, and how readers may respond to it. Thus far the feedback has been largely positive, so I do plan to continue publishing the TDT on a weekly basis.
With that noted, I need to take those various ideas and consolidate them into a firmer blueprint of the TDT moving forward. I want to establish a format which is more consistent and concrete - a bit more… reliable, for lack of better word.
To do this I will need to spend a bulk of the next two weeks doing some behind-the-scenes work; as such, there will be no Three-Dot Tablet posted for the 31st. The next edition will be dropped April 7, 2024.
Of course, there will be other articles posted here on The Stone Age between now and then, so make sure to stay tuned. In the meantime, thank you again for the gracious feedback regarding this publication over the past three months; you make all the effort worthwhile, and I am grateful for each of you.
Before we go, however…
Study Links Computer Habits to Erectile Dysfunction Risk
Science Alert
Well, this explains a LOT…
Spending hours sitting at a desk watching YouTube clips or collecting frags on your favorite shooter isn't likely to do your heart much good. A team of researchers from China found it might also have a rather depressing effect on other body parts, increasing the risk of erectile dysfunction.
If you think about the modern ‘incel’ phenomenon, and who those people tend to be, and what those people tend to spend a majority of their time doing?
Yeah, it makes sense.
Meanwhile (completely unrelated to the above-story), I am suddenly - and quite strongly - motivated to shut down my computer, go outside, and spend a few moments touching grass…
And that is all for this edition of the Three-Dot Tablet. Have a great two-weeks ahead, and as always… stay frosty!

I was never a "fan" of either, but on balance I appreciated Candace Owens a good deal more than Ben Shapiro. Candace as an heretical black woman had to put up with a lot of shit from women especially, Shapiro never had to deal with. She is opinionated without being smug. Best of luck to her, and I will continue to mostly ignore The Daily Wire.
As for nurses, I just read an account by a man who's mother was, in his words, slaughtered by the hospital. Nurses lied to him about giving her Remdesivir against the families wishes. They put her on a ventilator despite family directives not to. Nurses lectured him that he was harming her because he wouldn't let her die. Iatrogenic murder, and we can't talk about it, because most of Health Care is complicit. That said, I assume robot nurses are going to be about as reasonable and accurate as Google Gemini, optimizing for DEI, and not one robot will ever question jab mandates or Pharma directives, while hydroxy and ivermectin etc naturopathic remedies will remain verboten.
It’s difficult for me to understand who Candace Owen “is”? 🤔
