I am what I am. Once you've seen a .50 cal bull pup shooter hit the 900 yard gong at Jackson Hole's gun range, you can't unsee it. I think the native habitat of Martha's Vineyard included wolves and pumas at one point in the past, so we should restore that soon, don'tcha think?
Yes sir my friend, I think many of us see through this for what it really is...
I have no doubts in my mind that the alphabet soup organisations are a motivator, behind the scenes. There are definitely some future ulterior motives behind the implementation and perpetuity of the bogus science claims, none of which have any good outcomes.
Just because they can reintroduce them definitely doesn't mean they should. I believe you're on to something with the thought of them wanting to find ways to drive people out of the wilderness. If they do reintroduce them, I wouldn't be surprised if they disappear again.
In Europe these destructive and dangerous schemes has been going on for years: bears in the South of France, wolves in the Netherlands. No doubt much more but this is what I am aware of.
Have we given reasonable consideration to introducing wolves and mountain lions on Martha's Vineyard?
And suddenly, I am warming to the animal-replacement plan. All about perspective ;-)
Lotta good eating on a grizzly bear, though. Just sayin'
Now THAT is some alpha-human thinking right there LOL

Hey, if we are in for penny, why not a pound? Wolves and pumas and bears for everyone! :-D
I mean, you ARE right - fair IS fair, after all...
Like Dorothy says in the Wizard of Oz film, back when Judy Garland played the part, "Lions and tigers and bears! Oh my." lmao

VERY well put, good sir. Agreed 💯

Neither would I. Honestly, we need to get out of the business of 'fixing' nature; it's an errand born out of unrelenting hubris, in my opinion.

I sometimes fear for our European cousins; the targeting has been insidious and relentless, for far too long... :-\
Thank you
Another day another WTF moment by these idiots in charge
It's like a never-ending, daily soap opera of politics, except the storylines are vapidly insane and the actors suck.
