Natural Standard Time
How Current Timekeeping Methods Separate Us From Nature and Ourselves
Note: This is a slight rewrite (and thus a quasi-repost) of two articles I wrote in April and May of 2023; as I had far fewer subscribers back then, and due to the current weekend? It seemed advantageous to consolidate them into one piece and reshare now.
Also? Now would be a good time to grab your stylish-yet-functional tin-foil-hat; we are cooking slightly speculative here, yet (as always) mixing facts into the recipe…
In November of 2022 I dropped a very short video on both Instagram and TikTok, reveling in the annual tradition of returning to ‘Standard Time’… and it was the first video ever in which I decided to bust a move.
No seriously, I busted it - as in broke it - and while my gyrations were never going to fire up an Internet dance-craze, it was a fun way to celebrate something about which I am passionate. I reposted those videos this last Friday, because that time of year has arrived once again this weekend.
And when I say I am passionate about this… I am not exaggerating. Indeed, for years I have been of the thought that these manipulations of time are part of a larger agenda, one which deliberately separates us from our Natural cycles… from Nature itself. This is connected to the millennia-old Mammon Doctrine (which I have discussed in other articles here on The Stone Age), and I am certain the methods by which they force us to ‘keep’ time is an aspect of said-agenda.
For example, a couple of years ago a group of 12 senators introduced a bill which would have made Daylight Saving Time [DST] permanent. When introducing it they provided the usual litany of excuses for attempting this action, from reducing seasonal depression (which has no proven connection to DST ending) to helping businesses such as ‘golf courses’ (which is a serious priority for ‘elites’), due to the extra evening hour.
Of course, there were multiple attempts before this to establish “Saving Time” as “Standard,” with additional, half-baked ‘reasons’ thrown into the mix. This is all a smoke-screen, however; in fact, as I asserted above, we should be eliminating DST entirely, permanently removing the ‘spring forward’ psyop from our lives.
And many of us have no idea why we should.
My favorite actual journalist - the always-intrepid - shared an excerpt from Medpage Today on her website, which discusses that very assertion.
From the article…
[…] Standard Time is "the biologically correct time," argued Anna Yap, MD, speaking on behalf of the Resident and Fellow Section (RFS) and explaining the section's resolution asking the AMA to support eliminating Daylight Saving Time.
Year-round Standard Time allows for more light in the morning and less light at night. And Standard Time is better suited to humans' circadian rhythm than permanent Daylight Saving Time, explained Jessica Cho, MD, a sleep medicine and internal medicine physician, speaking on her own behalf.
And in case you are unfamiliar with the phrase ‘circadian rhythm?’ From the Sleep Foundation…
Circadian rhythms are 24-hour cycles that are part of the body’s internal clock, running in the background to carry out essential functions and processes. One of the most important and well-known circadian rhythms is the sleep-wake cycle.
When properly aligned, a circadian rhythm can promote consistent and restorative sleep. But when this circadian rhythm is thrown off, it can create significant sleeping problems, including insomnia. Research is also revealing that circadian rhythms play an integral role in diverse aspects of physical and mental health.
In other words… natural cycles.
I know there are those amongst us who genuinely believe that DST is actually better for you; in a recent post on the National Weather Service’s X account, people posted a variety of reasons why they think as such (I posted a counterpoint of my own, as did a few others); the nutshell of the arguments supporting DST is basically, “I would love less daylight in the evening… said no one EVER!”
While this is understandable on a surface level? I think if DST advocates would dig deeper for a moment, and consider how year-round ‘saving time’ could effect all of us during the winter months, they might come to different conclusions.
For example…
- Starting your work day off (literally) in the dark, at the coldest point of the 24-hour cycle? Not natural.
- An extra hour of light in the evening when your body is preparing itself to shut down for warmth, comfort, and rejuvenation? Not natural.
- Spikes in crime, depression, and accidents attributable to our manipulated circadian rhythms? Not natural… nor desired, at least not by rational people.
From disruptions to said-circadian rhythms, interruptions in our organic sleeping patterns, and the inflated risks of cardiac events and automobile accidents, I can assure you DST is not only temporally dangerous… but also spiritually harmful, as it disconnects us from our own energy… our very nature.
And how do you think kids are going to respond to going to school in the dark morning hours? By switching to perpetual DST we are unwittingly crippling our children’s natural development, and so doing when that development is at its peak stage.
The italicized examples above are all documented short-term results; we really have no idea what the long-term ramifications would be of a year-round DST. Like with the recent COVID ‘virus’ and resulting ‘vaccines,’ we simply cannot ascertain what outcomes to expect from extended DST exposure.
Well, we have no idea… but there are those who do. As I have documented here on The Stone Age, with multiple examples, actions by the Powers-That-Be oft have an underlying goal: To utterly separate us commoners from Nature, and from Natural living… and the reason? Individuals who ‘live natural’ are unflinchingly living free.
And they can’t have that, now can they?
If you think about recent history in this context, with an active mind, you begin to see the patterns unfold. From trying to corral us into densely-populated cities to injecting us with (‘allegedly’) DNA-altering ‘vaccines,’ from our relentless 24-hour economy to the usury banking system (yes, even that plays a part)? All of it serves to fragment each of us from within, and - as Natural Law dictates - fragmentation of this nature will find a way to manifest outwardly.
[No wonder people are going stark-raving nuts; thank goodness Pfizer is there to save the day, with lab-cooked, not-at-all-addictive pharma-rot, eh?]
Even how we measure time is unnatural. Though our biological systems work on a 24-hour schedule, we divide each day into two separate, 12-hour cycles. When our bodies are telling us we are going into the ‘strength’ part of our day, the clock is telling us it is time for a restart.
This division of our days has the potential to wreck havoc on the subconscious mind. Since we know the mind has the power to affect our biological systems, ‘time’ itself (or how we measure it, anyhow) ends up assaulting us from within. While said-effect is ‘only’ subconscious, what happens in the brain definitely translates into outcomes - for good or bane - to our physical and emotional states.
Consider this: How often do you go to a noon-time lunch, and return feeling drained and without focus - probably more often than not. Perhaps it is because the clock on your day has literally been reset - it is now 1:00 PM, and on that subconscious level you’re starting a brand new day without any rest.
No wonder you feel out of sorts.
While this theory may seem highly speculative, the 12/12 paradigm does appear to be counter-intuitive… yet we slavishly continue to follow it without question. As I am one - like many of you - who chooses to question everything? I decided to do a little test.
Starting in April of last year I discarded every clock I had in my home which did not have a 24-hour (also known as ‘military time’) option, and replaced them with clocks which were either capable of the 24-hour format… or were setup that way as a matter of course.
I also changed all my electronic devices (phone, tablet, computer, etc.) over to 24-hour time, committing myself to adhering - as much as possible - to a truly natural cycle.
The short-term results were more positive than even I expected. I immediately noticed improvement in my sleeping patterns, with my body responding better to my desire to fall asleep at an earlier time, and my frequent desire to grab an afternoon nap dissipated as well.
Other benefits took time to manifest. I started noticing that - generally speaking - I had more energy throughout the day, as well as a heightened sense of awareness of what was going on around me. I just felt more alert and… well, rested.
To be fair, I do understand that these effects may well be entirely placebo-based, due to factors both subconscious and psychological. As I mentioned above, what happens in the brain most definitely translates into tangible outcomes to our physical and emotional states; this would certainly fit into that category.
Also keep in mind that switching to 24-hour time is not a proverbial magic-bullet, one that cures us of all the unnatural demands modernity makes upon us. In the year-and-a-half since I made the change I have still had moments of sleeplessness and lethargy (and recently, too), because sometimes this manufactured lifestyle we are forced to live just has to ‘life’ us.
With the aforementioned DST being one of those ‘unnatural demands.’
Aside from relentlessly hounding those who (theoretically) serve us in DC (and in our state-houses; there is still a chance local solutions are possible), we can do very little to solve the DST issue. This becomes especially true since there are equal-numbers who believe ‘saving daylight’ is actually better for us.
However - while not a cure-all - I do see the switch to 24-hour time as one of many personal steps we can take toward getting back to how Nature intends for us to live; just one step, yes, but I now believe it is a simple yet important step, one that everyone should seriously consider.
Due to all the ‘unnatural’ with which they relentlessly hammer us, identifying the areas where we can take some measure of control - can begin to reclaim our natural lives - is becoming critical.
Through a myriad of subtle, esoteric actions on their part, our connection to everything which is ‘natural’ has been under assault. We can no longer allow them to also use ‘time’ as a weapon against us, thus we must do what we can - where we can - to reconnect those severed ties, with Nature and our Natural selves.
It is time to embrace “Natural Standard Time” - however we can, wherever we can… while we can.
Thank you so much for reading, and for the subscriptions, ‘likes,’ comments, and restacks. It all plays a vital role in sustaining and growing The Stone Age, thus I value each of you.

I am all for sticking with standard time. Now if we could just get it done instead of talking about it every year...*sigh*
I heard a supposed native saying once about DST that has stuck with me since. Only a white man would think cutting the bottom off a blanket and sewing it on the top would give him a longer blanket.
