Most of us Americans love our guns, and love our right to keep and bear them. Period. The majority of us prefer to exercise said-rights lawfully, for while we can be rebellious we generally respect the law… so being those laws do not violate the aforementioned rights. Natural rights.
When they do violate them, however?

Here I seek out the headlines others may not be covering (or not covering well), and - with healthy doses of passion and brevity, common sense and occasional humor - discuss them with raw, unfiltered commentary.

Prime Cut
In a recent ‘Notes’ post, I rather facetiously asked a question…
This week we got our answer, as the ‘president’ briefly came out of his basement dwelling to cause dictatorial mischief.
Well, a man who appeared to vaguely resemble Biden did, anyhow…
President Joe Biden on Thursday announced a new executive order aiming to "reduce gun violence and save lives," the White House said. The order establishes the Emerginig [SIC] Firearms Threats taskforce to advance efforts to stem the influx of machinegun conversion devices and unserialized, 3D printed firearms, it also directs federal agencies to improve school active shooter drills.
Considering the fact this ‘task-force’ is nothing more than further militarization of federal agencies, and an expansion of their reach into schools through ‘active shooter drills’ (drills which should be the responsibility of local law enforcement organizations)… yeah, I think ‘dictatorial’ fits quite nicely in this case.
This will undoubtedly be put under a judicial microscope, of course, and while it is almost impossible to ascertain how the current Supreme Court will rule in any one case? They have been fairly consistent when it comes to the Second Amendment, so I am (again, fairly) confident it will be thrown out on Constitutional grounds.
Here is an irony, however: Biden may just be helping the economy with this final salvo of his ‘presidency.’ Well… helping local, underground-economies, anyhow.
See, history has proven time and time and time again that once you attempt to ban an item you automatically bolster its market value. Referred to by the ominous moniker ‘ghost guns,’ 3D firearms are outright banned in 17 states… yet their prevalence in those states continues to grow. Canada too - whose government is becoming one of the most totalitarian on the planet - has bans in place, yet as recently as last year the growth of the ‘ghost gun’ black market was evident.
As for the U.S. of A., most of us Americans love our guns, and love our right to keep and bear them. Period. The majority of us prefer to exercise said-rights lawfully, for while we can be rebellious we generally respect the law… so being those laws do not violate the aforementioned rights. Natural rights.
When they do violate them, however? (And they will.) You can pretty much guarantee every small town in America will have at least one person who covertly owns a 3D printer… and that person will be willing to take any items they ‘print’ to sell to - or to trade them with - their neighbors.
The neighbors they know, anyhow… which is another reason why getting to know your neighbors and ‘living local’ in the ‘now’ - before things go south - is so critical.
Folks, this is how Liberty works; occasionally She has to break the laws of Man to revere the laws of Nature. And once a people feel like they have nothing left to lose? They will do whatever is necessary, be damned the consequences.
While we are not to this point yet, barring a major action this government will eventually get around to violating our fundamental rights to keep and bear arms. Every ‘democracy’ in existence has done so, and while we are still theoretically a Constitutional Republic? At the breakneck-speed they are traveling to reach their ‘2030 Agenda’ goals, we may well find ourselves in grim circumstances sooner rather than later.
And due to that? Us commoners will be forced to shop local markets to practice our principles. All across America peaceful, unassuming individuals are paying attention, and - with an entrepreneurial spirit - are researching those 3D printers. They are planning for those hidden markets… markets that have been quietly forming in small towns everywhere for many years now.
And Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. may have inadvertently - accidentally - given those markets a little boost this last week…

Soros Expands His Influence
Arch-globalist and billionaire tyrant George Soros got a little gift from the FCC this last week; of course, the grifting rage-merchants on X had a heyday with it, demanding all manner of retributions.
This time, however? The grifters may actually have a point, even if their motives are seldom noble…
The Federal Communication Commission (FCC) has reportedly approved a deal fast-tracking Democrat billionaire George Soros’ purchase of over 200 radio stations across the country, bypassing a standard review process, coming just over a month before the election.
While radio may not have the ‘influence’ it once did, any foreign entity (and you do not get much more ‘foreign’ than Soros) who controls a sizable chunk of any market is troubling. Add to that his blatant attempts to destroy America from within, through his various organizations?
Yeah… I have a problem with this, and it should be addressed.
That having been said, it is also important to note that a majority of the formats related to those stations are music-based, so the main complaint - that he is attempting to sway the coming election - holds very little water. That noted, I do admit that concerning ourselves with his ability to influence future events is still critical, for obvious reasons.
Yes, there are a few ‘talk-stations’ which are right-leaning in the mix, so if this is allowed to stand? We will need to track how those talk-radio formats shift, to determine Soros’ intentions.
Or, we can just judge from his past actions. Plenty of evidence there, too, after all.
One other key point, the one I considered most important. I did my due-diligence and checked each station Soros could potentially own, and every single one of them is in an urban market - not one is a ‘rural’ station. That is vital, because I have been very clear about my support for local radio, especially independent stations.
Preventing his Agenda from clogging up rural airwaves with propaganda, so that local news and information can flow freely, is essential for what is coming. As such, despite the FCCs efforts to pimp out Liberty like a cheap prostitute? We are still holding the line in that regard.
At least for now, anyhow…
Blame The Fossil Fuels, Because Of Course
A study was conducted, and by mashing 485 million years-worth of geological data with information which has been gleaned from ‘climate models’ (seriously folks, I cannot make this stuff up), they claim they have determined what climate was like throughout those 485 million years.
Their conclusions are… interesting…
Earth’s last half-billion years were action-packed. During that time, the climate underwent many changes. There have been changes in ocean levels and ice sheets, changes in the atmosphere’s composition, changes in ocean chemistry, and ongoing biological evolution punctuated with extinction events.
Judging by the raw data as presented in the article, it is obvious that the surface temperatures of our planet have been much, much warmer than they are now. In fact - and this is a kicker - we are currently in one of the coldest periods of that time-span.
So one might think, since human involvement with the climate was impossible hundreds of millions of years ago, that these ‘scientists’ would pause to reflect on their existing assertions, consider that maybe the current ‘climate change’ we are experiencing could instead be a natural phenomenon. After all, if it occurred eons before fossil-fuel consumption? It just makes sense.
One might think that… and one would be wrong.
Indeed, they have somehow twisted the results to assert this proves that fighting ‘human-caused’ climate change is more important than ever… because it verifies that ‘carbon’ was the cause of the warming. Never mind that we were not even around for the previous warming eras - it’s relevant because shut up, peasant! Now just do what you’re told!
The results of so doing, of course, will be to slavishly follow our self-appointed overlords’ directives. While not directly mentioned in the story, those will very likely include 15-minute cities, a CBDC/ESG-based economy, insect repasts, and electric vehicles that can be detonated when you get too persnickety (like pagers in Lebanon, you know). In other words, tyranny… due to data which clearly shows we have at most a nominal effect on the carbon which fills our atmosphere.
How anyone can take these agenda-driven propagandists seriously is beyond me…

No seriously, guise - you really, really CAN…
People can intentionally shape the traits they need to be successful in the lives they want. That's contrary to the popular belief that your personality type places you in a box, dictating that you choose partners, activities and careers according to your traits.
Who? Who maintains that allegedly ‘popular belief?’ Scientists? Head-shrinkers who have never read a single tome not approved by the APA? The ghost of Ayn Rand?
They do not say.
So you may be wondering to yourself, “Well gosh, Stone - what IS the secret? How can one change their personality for the better?”
Turns out (according to this study), the secret is “The Secret.” *Kind of…
The first component involves changing your thinking patterns – this is the cognitive piece. You need to become aware of your thoughts to determine whether they're keeping you stuck acting in line with a particular trait.
So, basically what metaphysically-minded people have been saying for thousands of years: Change your mind, and you change your life. Sure, it takes effort - nothing worth having ever comes to us easy - but with said-effort you really can make the changes for yourself.
And now, science agrees… again. I just wonder when they are going to get around to Natural diets and remedies for physical illnesses - that’ll be fun.
I tell you, folks, I have covered so many of these stories over the past few months - brand new ‘discoveries’ which have legitimately been known for millennia - that I am almost getting bored with them. Still, I think it is necessary to point out when the ‘science’ catches up with the ‘spiritual’ (even when they themselves refuse to acknowledge it), because it solidifies one thing I know to be true.
The old ways - the Natural ways - still work…

Personal story, I learned of visualization when I was very young, powerful stuff. I won the state championship in cycling when I was just 13. I read a lot about competition and most people knew even back then, that to visualize yourself powering over the finish line ahead of the pack was strong mojo. Just keep replaying it over in your mind, feeling the rush of air, hearing the crowd cheering..smell the sweat of riders near you. But you pull ahead right at the last second and win.
Manifest your reality. It's for real.
On Soros’ nefarious acquisition - I have a thought - he and his ilk are upstream of main events, and just maybe he’s betting that once “they” are successful in implementing their internet censorship project, people will be reverting to radio for information, and he’s positioning himself ahead of it. Didn’t he already buy up about 100 radio stations last year too?
