Well that was packed full of things to think about....but I'm telling you my dog won't touch a sweet potato and chased a squirrel up a tree for a snack today, sorry squirrel. Love how the experts come in to finally tell everyone what they already know. Let the dogs be dogs. Let the children be children. Let the experts "think" they know something, anything? Let the delusional be delusional. And so it is.

😂😂 Good for your dog, canines know them squirrels are up to shady business 😉

I do find it astonishing that there are so many amongst us who cannot accept anything without an 'expert' confirming it. Have we completely lost our trust in our own common sense? 🤦🏻

It's truly baffling. Authority and Experts rule over others when they can't rule over themselves (both sides). People will ignore what their own body, mind and soul are tyring to tell them just to carry out a directive by someone with the title of expert. Anyone can say they are an expert, it's like the ultimate acting gig for attention and ego-boosting. What makes someone an expert at anything really other than that title?Even, say an ultra marathon runner, who has perfected running and ran more miles than anyone else might be an expert at running....but give really bad advice.

Oh no… lol what have I missed here. Ive been trying to get them out of my attic… the little critters I don’t want to kill anything smh… lol

Deb I try to save animals constantly then walk outside and see what my dog has killed for the day, somehow I hope I'm keeping a little balance in the Universe, but I love them all, except ants....ants turn me in to a murderer, I told them if they leave me alone and stay out of the house we could co-exist peacefully but one drop of honey and they come out of the woodwork...game over! I got rid of a lot of mice in the attic with essential oils believe it or not, but don't know how to help you catch a squirrel, there must be a catch and release style trap you could puts some nuts in?

Thank You so much yes you and I are completely on the same page here, using the essential oils Peppermint oil is soooo my best friend :) But it seems the squirrels don’t care much if I flood the attic with the smell or not, which is weird because they are a kind of rodent(I could be wrong about that though.) I got one of those disinfectant lamps for myself for Mother’s Day to use around the house and after using it in my grandsons room my daughter said she could hear them scattering around so maybe if I use it up there they will run. I’ll let you know if it works Thank You. ( I already tried the have a heart little critter trap but they come right back after being released) we are on a hill from a small river/ surrounded by trees so they have lots of places to go other than my home :) Fingers crossed toes eyes etc lol

I grew up in Oregon and I see my dear Klamath county is joining the rebellion, good for them!!!!! If I still lived there (now in CA. for many years) I would join. WEW

I lived in Oregon back in the early 90s, and fell in love with the land, and the people outside of the Willamette Valley? Some of the finest folks in America <3

Stone, Oregon is still a great state. I grew up in Klamath Falls, a high plateau of 4100 feet, about 20 miles north of the California border. Very cold winters, ranching and farming country for spuds, horseradish and alfalfa. Salt of the earth people 100%. Eugene is beautiful as well, Univ. of Oregon, where unfortunately, I failed at more than one year of college. I just did not have the focus. I think Eugene, Salem and Portland have too much "woke" nonsense. I hope and pray that the majority of Oregonians will once again regain their "horse sense" and remove themselves from the madness of the Left. Oregon is a red state, as far as I am concerned. Certainly was when I grew up... WEW

Eastern Oregon wanting to leave, and similarly with eastern Washington and parts of California, shows the perils of the “national popular vote” compact and attempts to eliminate the electoral college. These are places that feel trampled by the urban elites in their states (example: Inslee in Washington just told a board to try again after the board pared back a very locally unpopular wind farm in eastern Washington). Now imagine the resentment were that to happen at a national scale.

I could not agree more, Matthew - one of the sayings I oft repeat on here is when the Electoral College goes, so goes what is left of our Republic. While perhaps a tad overstated, I do believe it is one of the critical elements.

Excellent comment!

I live in one of the Oregon counties that has already voted to move Oregon's border (yes, my Substack is currently in Colorado, where I lived for a number of years, but I'm on the "sane side of Oregon" now and likely will still be here when they carry me out in a pine box).

In his book "Liberalism," written a hundred years ago, Ludwig von Mises makes a powerful case for the people of an area being free to associate with whomever they want and to choose their own leaders.

Thank you for shining a light on this small effort that isn't likely to succeed in my lifetime.

Sounds like you live in a good area with good people, Ken *salute

I think you might be right - we'll both be long gone before such efforts can come to fruition, but sometimes the seeds of Liberty take a long time to germinate. All we can do is plant them, and hope for the best... :-)

To each his own and respect!!

Globalisation insanity!

Stop meddling in other countries affairs and start taking care of yer own backyard.

We are supposed to be independent.

Yet we depend on china for this, on russia for that...

High fences make good neighbors..

Back to basics.

Thank you!

Wow, Charlotte! That map visual is astonishing! So basically, the state is being run into the ground by the Bay Area, LA County, and the Capital? Talk about an imbalance!

I really hope they succeed in their efforts - I know it is a long shot, but people in rural areas should not be lorded over by those who do not understand them at all!

Thanks so much for sharing this - appreciate ya! :-)

Stone today I was driving down the freeway and saw a digital billboard with a message that said something like:

If you want to live in a sh*thouse vote for

BIDEN 🤣🤣🤣

At first, I mistakenly thought it was a positive campaign for him. I was thinking, “Oh dear!” monkey 🙈 But when I got closer… 😅 Most of California is reasonable! 😍

I wish I could take a photo, but it’s out on the freeway!

I don’t believe in marketing to children at all.

Also, I bet red Eastern Oregon and red Eastern Washington want to be part of red Idaho. The mountains divide things up here. They fight “the cityfolk” over everything.

And Idaho can have them.

See, peaceful solution - 'red' voters' they don't want to be aligned with the western parts of the states, and those in said-parts want those voters to go away ;-)

I'm like a peacemaker or something LOL Sadly, DC loves to have us commoners at each other's throats, so alas, my solution will be ignored... :-(

At any rate, I do appreciate the comment - always enjoy your input! :-)

The events and the deaths involved in the establishment of West Virginia are not worth repeating. The price was very high.

I am all for establishing local groups. But expecting to vote our way to freedom is foolish. And voting for a system to make new states and move state boundaries is not going anywhere. It is a great idea to have a peaceful system of course, but you don't get good results expecting mass murdering demon worshippers to give up power.

It's like expecting dogs to eat garden vegetables. It's not in their nature.

Agreed! Yet.. who has the power really..?!

We do. The only peaceful option we have is to boycott them and their systems.

They live off of us.

Not making a choice, not participating in any of this bs.

We have lost our independence.

We even have forgotten how to feed ourselves, clothes oursleves, this globalisation is a detriment to our very foundation and way of life.

The good thing is, we have done this before, it won't be easy but I think by now we all know that what has been going on is not sustainable. Not for us and not for nature.

Back to basics.

My family name comes from a place in Scotland from which our family was forcibly removed by order of the Hanoverian usurpation in 1746. We have done this before, yes, and it is always the case that tyranny fails. The cost is often very high.
