Smoothing over the coarser pathways

As it has been a while since I have posted one of the ‘Pages’ from my upcoming book, I thought it was a good time to do so once again.

One of the many challenges I have run into with these entries is making the effort to respect the differences across cultures, circumstances, and even eras, while still codifying a reliable path which is saturated in Natural Law. I never wish to tell anyone how to live - or what to do - nor to I want that responsibility. Instead, my desire is to offer a firm foundation, one based in timeless truths and from which an individual can forge their own path.

A foundation upon which I can rely as well; indeed, every single word of what I write in these ‘Pages’ is directed straight into the mirror first.

With that noted, while I do write these for - and at - myself, I post them (and will eventually release the book) as a means of offering them to anyone who may be interested in a unique way of approaching and balancing the various aspects of Temporal and Ethereal life.

Whether they resonate or not? That is entirely up to you.

As to the lessons found below, they are just that - lessons. Lessons which adhere to Tri-Con and common sense… lessons which I have oft learned the hard way. Interpret them as you wish, with an active mind and pure heart.

As with all previous ‘Pages,’ this is an aspect of my spiritual path, and is thus personal canon.

PAGE OF LESSONS

Times and cultures ever transform, thus issuing strict and specific directives on daily ‘living’ is the height of folly; embracing Natural lessons - those steeped in Temperance - is the much wiser course. As such, consider and test what is below, that your trust in them turns absolute.

-- Of Individuals: Ever aware of the Sacred Compass, associate with whomever you desire, holding close those of similar mind and Koa (soul). Being that energy is constantly exchanged between us, and all which surrounds us, embrace those who prove themselves true, while exiling any who would manipulate, denigrate, or betray. As Oneness should never equate to isolation, associate joyfully… yet wisely.

-- Of Collectives: The ability to freely assemble and bond within larger groups is not only a great temporal felicity, but is critical to existence. Be it based on blood or location or interests, sagacity is vital when choosing a collective to join and support. When based on Natural facets, said-collective will enrich your life in ways unimaginable; when it is not, and instead based on unnatural edicts, it becomes poisonous. Be aware.

-- Of Productive Effort: Being that productivity is at the root of esteem for self, and thus a source of serenity, it is vital to temporal living. Immerse yourself in the effort of doing, in the moment and for its own sake, accepting just and natural compensation without shame or hubris or thralldom. Focus not on past glories, nor the anticipation of results, nor the acquisition of wealth or prestige; instead, revere the act of doing.

-- Of Material Items: Adopt a minimalist life, craving integrity while expelling covetousness and greed. Accept as your own only that which is earned or freely given, casting aside - by trade or charity - any excess which does not enrich your personal growth, enhance your productive efforts, provide for your survival, or bring joy into your life. All else is gross extravagance which enslaves the Koa to phantoms temporal.

To flourish in these matters one first needs to develop the peace found in simplicity and solitude. This means you knowing 'you' - knowing what edifies, and what is toxic. It means attaining the wisdom to embrace that which enriches your Koa, the will to release that which begets baneful effects, and the courage to stand firm in the face of both. Do this, and these lessons shall well serve.

After-Thoughts

And now (especially for newer readers), my usual boilerplates: When it comes to the ‘Pages’ my desire is to leave something that will be of value long after I take that final dirt nap. As such, in the process of writing I have spent considerable time and energy on both style and verbiage; as an element of that, these are deliberately written in a terse, baroque style.

As for future releases of ‘Pages’ from my book project? I may end up dropping a few more, but I feel like we are getting close to the time to just release the entire thing. It will be a short ‘book’ - very short - but if I have written it right?

Well, only you will be able to judge that. For now, however, thank you for reading; we shall soon return to regularly-scheduled shenanigans.
